I was insulted by my mother today. I have been teaching for quite some time now and I was able to make a living from it. Yet she still insists I should be ashamed of myself because I have yet to get a masteral degree. I don't know. I really don't want to offend her but I honestly think this traditional education thing is just a big business. We don't really learn anything in school any more than the things we learn thru mentorship by people in the know. I just don't know how to not accept her insults without being disrespectful.

I am heartbroken right now. No matter how much I try, I can't find anything to be thankful for. They say you shouldn't be complaining about life when you have a roof over your head and food on your table. I have a roof but I don't have an equipped wall. I feel so cold because the treacherous winter breeze can still get inside. I have food but it's mostly junk and I eat on the floor. I don't have a table. I feel I haven't really used a working table in years. I do everything on the floor. There are times I even pee on the floor. Who wouldn't be so stressed when you did not really grow up like this?
